Badgerland Bible Quizzing (BBQ) is under a larger network of Bible Quizzing called Bible Quiz Fellowship. BQF is a nationwide, non-denominational ministry that gives us the opportunity to interact with other Bible quiz groups and quiz in Regional and National tournaments.
We have both Junior and Varsity divisions. Junior quizzers must be 7 years old in September when quizzing starts. Varsity quizzers must be 11 years old and can quiz until they are 19.
During the 2009-2010 quiz season we will be quizzing on 1st & 2nd Corinthians and Titus.
Some of the reasons we quiz are that quizzing gives the motivation to study and memorize Scripture as well as the opportunity to develop leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. Quizzing also provides a good setting for youth to develop relationships with other youth who love the Lord and are memorizing the Scriptures.
All of our groups form teams and then meet once a month to quiz. After the Regular Season, they combine to form Post Season Teams
